Caitlin Hill

Caitlin is a clinical psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents and their families across education and health settings. Caitlin completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at Macquarie University following a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours at the University of Western Sydney. She has worked across independent and public school systems, private practice and health settings, giving her a broad understanding of the emotional, social and behavioural challenges that children, young people and their families face.
About Caitlin
Caitlin has an interest in working with primary aged children through to young adults supporting a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, body image, low self esteem, social difficulties, school refusal and behavioural challenges. Caitlin works collaboratively with parents and enjoys providing parenting support. Caitlin is especially interested in supporting children and families navigating chronic health conditions, including adjustment to illness and the emotional impact of ongoing medical needs. In addition to her clinical training, Cailtin has completed a Master of Qualitative Health Research at the University of Sydney, strengthening her understanding and interest in the lived experience of illness and ensuring her work remains reflective and evidence-based.
Caitlin values a practical, honest and relaxed approach to therapy. She is validating and compassionate while also encouraging sustainable change. Her therapeutic approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) including DNA-V for children and adolescents. Caitlin is trained as a Cool Kids Anxiety Program facilitator, a Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator and a LEGO therapy facilitator.
