Carly is a registered psychologist with sound training and varied clinical experience. She has a hypothesis driven and evidence based approach to practice. Carly offers assessments and interventions for children, adolescents, and families and enjoys building positive supportive relationships with her clients.

 

Carly has a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from The University of Wollongong and a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychology obtained at Macquarie University. Carly’s background includes both research and clinical work at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the Sydney Children’s Hospital at Randwick, as well as paediatric based neuropsychological research at the University of Sydney. Carly has worked with individuals across the age spectrum but primarily has an interest in child and adolescent populations. Her patient groups have included acquired brain injury, ADHD, learning disabilities, neurology (epilepsy, tumour, and other brain disorders), neurosurgery rehabilitation, developmental disorders, genetic disorders, dementias and mood and behavioural difficulties.

 

Carly is thoroughly trained and experienced in the use of psychometric, academic and diagnostic assessments including assessment of IQ, academic achievement, memory, attention, executive abilities, language, visuospatial abilities and reading.

Carly has co-authored papers published in peer reviewed journals on neuropsychological outcomes in children with genetic disorders and electrophysiological indices of behaviour.
